LC3D LowCost 3D

28-29 November 2017, Hamburg, Germany

LowCost 3D is a series of international workshops on low-cost three-dimensional sensor systems and tools. Ranging from low-cost acquisition devices like handheld scanning systems over inexpensive photogrammetric algorithms to processing software and applications. Started by Prof. Frank Neitzel from Technical University Berlin and Prof. Ralf Reulke from Humboldt-University in Berlin, the workshops were organized and hosted alternating between these two universities. Since 2011 four workshops took place in Berlin while in 2017 the 5th workshop will be hosted by the HafenCity University Hamburg.

ISPRS Hannover Workshop 2017

06-09 June 2017, Hannover, Germany

Sensor calibration, image orientation, object extraction and scene understanding from images and image sequences are important research topics in Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Computer Vision and Geoinformation Science. In these tasks, geometry and semantics both play an impor-tant role, and high quality results require proper handling of all these aspects. While individual algorithms differ according to the imaging geometry and the employed sensors and platforms, all mentioned aspects need to be integrated in a proper workflow to solve most real-world problems.
