Terms of Reference

  • Curricula development at basic education, professional, and decision-making levels with inputs from academia, government, and industry
  • Regional and international cooperation in capacity building through the conduct of summer schools, seminars, workshops, tutorials, and cooperation with industry
  • Engaging and providing support to tutors/trainers through the development of educational materials and modules, including the use of open-source data and software
  • Increase awareness in the use of innovative technologies, including AI, machine learning, data analytics, and IOT, for photogrammetry, remote sensing and spatial information science
  • Educating and engaging the youth and the private sector to ensure sustainability of the knowledge workforce
  • Increase participation of women and underrepresented minorities to ensure diversity and address inequality issues
  • Coordinating activities of the different working groups, including the student consortium, and helping in the organization and implementation of joint workshops and conferences
  • Coordinating the publication of white paper on the accomplishment of each working group, and special issues in ISPRS journals
