General Plan of Activities
- Organize and participate in webinars, workshops, trainings, symposia, and conferences covering topics relevant to GST4BlueCoast
- The following will be organized by the WG: Monthly webinars, three (3) workshops, three (3) training courses, and two (2) symposia/conferences
- Potential partners: Conservation International, Partnerships in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia (PEMSEA), other civil society organizations, universities, national government agencies, private sector
- Assess the current degree of awareness and utilization of geospatial science and technologies for blue economy and coastal marine environments (GST4BluECoast) in selected countries
- Document case applications and best practices in promoting GST4BluECoast
- Develop and deploy website and social media pages to promote various applications, utilization, and operationalization of geospatial technologies in the coastal marine environment and for blue economy
- Publish a white paper on the value of geospatial science and technology in blue economy and coastal marine environments
