ISPRS WG I/3
Multispectral, Hyperspectral and Thermal Sensors
Mission/Scope
ISPRS Working Group I/3 aims to promote design and performance investigations of multispectral and hyperspectral sensors from spaceborne and airborne (including UAV) systems. Special focus is put on recently launched spaceborne sensors (EnMAP, EMIT, DESIS, PRISMA, ZY1-02D/E, and UAVs) and future missions (CHIME, CarbonMapper, SBG), as well as multi-sensor data fusion concepts. For multi-spectral, operational systems (Landsat-9, Sentinel-2, WorldView series) as well as innovative ones (Pleiades Neo, Dove Constellations) are considered. The WG I/3 intends to provide publicly available benchmark datasets for performance investigations and data simulations. Furthermore the Working Group will work closely with WG I/8 and other WG from commission I/II/III.
