Events:

  • Co-organizing “ISPRS Laser Scanning Workshop 2017” during Geospatial Week in Wuhan (China), Sept. 2017
  • Co-organizing  Summer School in Obergurgl on Near Sensing for Lapine Research, Austria (July 2017)
  • Organization of a Special Sessions in SPIE Cyprus Remote Sensing Conference during term 2017-2020.
  • Co-organizing “ISPRS Laser Scanning Workshop 2019” during Geospatial Week 2019 (to be defined)
  • Organizing a workshop in cooperation with other Comm. III WG’s (Cryosphere, Natural Sciences Applications), to be held in Europe on 2019
  • Proposing technical sessions at EGU (Vienna) and AGU (San Francisco) on 2018-2020
  • Try to connect with LiDAR Forum (commercial LiDAR and 3D sensors network), IEEE, IGARSS, SPIE, scientific societies (for example, Int. Glaciological Society)
  • Organizing a workshop at the 37th Int. Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environment, Tshwane (South Africa), 8-12 May 2017
  • Contributing to the organization of the “2nd Summer School on Alpine Research,” Obergurgl (Tyrol, Austria), July 2017
  • Organization of a Workshop in Guilin (China) during 2019

 

Publications:

  • A special issue on “Geophysical parameters retrieval from LiDAR data” to be submitted to the ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing
  • A special issue on “Classification methods and applications from LiDAR intensity data” to be submitted to Remote Sensing (MDPI)
