ISPRS WG II/2

Point Cloud Generation

Our Mission

ISPRS Working Group II/2 aims on the generation and evaluation of 3D point clouds with main focus on image based surface reconstruction. The imagery evaluated by respective dense (multi-view-)stereo algorithms can be captured by terrestrial, airborne including UAV and space-borne platforms. Topics of interest also include the filtering, fusion and integration of point clouds from different sensors and data sources for mesh-generation during surface reconstruction as well as the evaluation of different approaches by providing benchmark data sets and pipelines.
